Bachelor’s Degree in any of the following fields will be helpful in order to become a Safety Officer. The Safety Officer must be trained and accredited by the Philippines DOLE in accordance with the DOLE Occupational Safety and Health Standards, Rule 1030. (Certified Safety Officer 3 – 40hrs BOSH Training + 48hrs Advanced/Specialized OSH Training). Additionally, Basic First Aid Training and Certification from a reputable NGO like Red Cross would complement/enhance the role.

Additional 48 hours of advanced /specialized occupational safety training course relevant to the industry
