Tour Guides are graduates of Bachelor’s Degree in Tourism Management/ Hospitality Management, or completed TESDA Accredited short courses on Local Guiding Services NCII/Tour Guiding Service NCII.

The tuition fee in private colleges and universities for BS in International Tourism and Travel Management ranges from P35,000-P40,000 per semester while public colleges and universities offer courses free of tuition.

Tour Guides may gain experience and specialize in tours to specific countries or to multiple destinations and eventually opt to set up their own travel agencies. They may also become travel writers or vloggers.
