Construction Workers are High School graduates/undergraduates. With/without experience as construction worker may be hired.

1. Knowledge of mixing and pouring construction material (concrete, sand, grout etc.)
2. Ability and dexterity in operating equipment like trench rammers, drills, pneumatic hammers etc.
3. Excellent balance and eye-hand coordination
4. Able to read instructions and blueprints when needed
5. Able to work in a team

Basic Education is free in public schools.

Construction Workers may gain experience in construction of buildings, heavy and civil engineering construction, specialty trade contractors, and become first-line supervisors/managers of construction trades and extraction workers. They can also specialize as:

• Construction equipment operators
• Carpenters
• Cement masons and concrete finishers
• Painters
• Plumbers
• Pipefitters
• Steamfitters
