DOLE joins public consultation on the IRR of the Trabaho Para sa Bayan Act

The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) participated in the online public consultation on the working draft of the Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR) of the Trabaho Para sa Bayan (TPB) Act conducted by the National Economic and Development Authority on 15 February 2024.

Said activity was aimed at consulting and consolidating the comments of the general public on the ongoing drafting of the Rules and Regulations (IRR) of the Trabaho Para sa Bayan (TPB) Act.
Republic Act No. 11962 or the TPB Act was passed into law on 27 September 2023, which seeks to increase employability of Filipinos, expand access to employment opportunities, achieve shared labor market governance, and create an enabling environment for the growth of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs).
